Walk-Ins

Yes, walk in. Here is the honest math.

Twenty-three seats means we cannot pretend every hour is the same. Some windows almost always seat you, one window almost never does. Rather than make you guess from the sidewalk, here is the actual pattern.

01 / The windows that work

When the room is yours.

Weekday evenings from 5 to 7 PM, walk-ins usually land straight away, and the first hour of service is the calmest version of the night. Weekend afternoons are the quiet secret: lunch runs Saturday and Sunday from noon and Friday from 2 PM, full menu and full wine list, and the room at 1 PM on a Saturday is as easy as it ever gets.

02 / When to book instead

Prime time is a reservation.

Thursday through Saturday, 7 to 9:30 PM, books out on Resy. If that is the night you want, reserve it; walking in then is hoping for a cancellation, and the host will tell you so honestly rather than park you in a vague wait.

03 / The café

Eight more seats, April to November.

In the warm months the café adds eight seats on West 10th, 31 in all, weather permitting. They seat walk-ins and reservations alike, and an early evening outside on this block is its own argument for not planning ahead.

04 / FAQ

Walk-in questions.

Do you take walk-ins at all?+
Yes, at the bar and at open tables. Weekday 5 to 7 PM and weekend afternoons are the windows that almost always work.
Best bet for tonight?+
Arrive at opening: 5 PM on weekdays, noon on weekends, 2 PM on Friday. The later it gets, the more the room belongs to Resy.
And if you’re full?+
The host will give you the honest read. If the wait is real, take the next free slot on Resy or come at opening another day; prime Thursday to Saturday rarely clears.
Is the bar good for one?+
It is the best seat for one or two: the full menu, the pours in sight, and the room close enough to feel like company.
